In this weeks episode, we dive into fitness apps + Birds aren't real. No seriously. Tom reveals all and we all know he takes his research very seriously! Back to the apps, there is an abundance of them on the app store but we take a closer look at 4 main categories. Running/cycling, recovery, nutrition tracking and sleep tracking. We take particular attention to the apps, STRAVA, GOWOD, ROMWOD, My Fitness Pal and Sleep Cycle.
Before this episode, Bill put up some polls on his Instagram asking questions such as "Do you use an app to track your sleep". He got a fantastic response and on average received 75 responses on each question. Thanks to all those who got involved!
Especially when it comes to the segment on recovery apps, Tom comes in with his studies and there's a real lengthy discussion into stretching & using tools such as foam rollers and the like for recovery, mobility and "reducing doms" you certainly won't find an echo chamber here!
